I needed to get my camera closer to the ground and this was the solution. I used this Extender with my Slik Pro 700 and I have a SOLID holder for my camera. I tried using this extender on my Sunpak tripod and all I got was SHAKE, the head was not solid enough to hold the extender. You need a very good tripod (not a local retail special) if you want rock solid results.

Photek The eXtender, a [$] solution work better than my previous custom-made and expensive lateral arm for my horizontal pole panography. Packed with ball head and quick realease, Manfrotto style - smooth and solid feel.
