I took this to the Exumas for a week on the boat. I took it snorkeling and diving and it absolutely did it's job!! I took over 1200 pictures and the only problem I had was my battery life..lol. It is hard to see sometimes (your looking out of a mask--usually fogged up, and trying to take pictures), but I easily got the hang of it and was able to take pretty good pictures without the viewfinder/viewer.

This is an overall excellent housing. Underwater photos are very good but camera setup is critical. The flash defaults to automatic in the underwater scene mode rather than on. One annoying problem is the position of the mode selector arm that is too easily flipped into movie mode by the thumb holding the housing. Also, the housing is Canon model specific and can't be used with any other Canon Elph model because of the ever changing arrangements of buttons and contrals.
