I started using my Canon FD 85mm 1.2L circa 1990.It's an awesome lens!Especially for portraiture.It's great for low light conditions as well.I often use it in lieu of my 50mm.If I could have but 2 lenses....it would be my FD 300 2.8L and my 85mm 1.2L......I paid about [$] for the 85mm at the time.........If in doubt,buy it!
