This is one of those great lenses that sort of gets lost in the crowd. First, Sigma EX glass is some of the best you can buy for any amount on of money. This lens is built like a brick house. Sharp, great bokeh, and extreamly fine image rendition. I can put this on the end of my camera for a whole day! Shoots wide beautifully, sharp corner to corner, and I can litterally touch the front element to a subject for macro and get perfectly critical focus. In fact, because of that, you need to put some sort of protection on the front of this lens just in case!
