Comments about BeachTek BeachTek DXA-SLR Dual XLR Audio Adapter with Built-in Preamplifiers and Phantom Power for DSLR Cameras with Mic Jack:

I bought this gadget so I could record decent audio on my 7D without using dual system. Everything seemed to be going great during our testing on it, it even makes a nice beeping sound along with a green light when you're hitting good audio levels. The problem is, that little beeping sound ALSO gets recorded onto the track, making it useless. I thought I may have gotten a lemon but I've read of other people having the same issue. If an audio recording device beeps while recording good audio, it doesn't make for a good recording device. Needless to say it's going back and I'm sticking with my DR-100.
