I've worked in the photo industry all my life and been involved in the design and evaluation of many cameras. While this is hardly a professional unit, it provides remarkably good quality for the price. I liked it enough that I have ordered a second unit. It slips in your pocket and allows you to capture over an hour of VGA video on a 2GB SD memory card and runs on AA penlite cells.

I use it for video only although the still camera function is reasonably good.

Video capabilities are very good. The included software does not need to be installed, and I didn't install it. I simply connected the USB cable and my Windows 7 PC recognized the camera as an external storage device, allowing me to copy the video files directly to my harddrive.

Not sure why another reviewer complained about the audio. The audio works well.

Overall, this is nearly as good as a VGA FLIP camera, for far less money.
