I am new to the "consumer" video field and wanted an inexpensive, but effective way of lighting my subjects. The Camerabright X1-R is a great answer. It provides an amazing amount of light and projects it for at least 10 feet. It attaches easily to my video camera,it is very light weight (but solid feeling and sturdy). The LEDs do throw a blue tinge on the subjects. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. If I were to make the decision today I would probably buy the Camerabright unit that has the warm light feature. That being said, I recommend this highly and have to my friends and family.
