The lamp is just Ok. it has an integrated diffuser a dichroic filter and a barn-door set ,all mounted on a single hinge. not the best quality here. A dimmer would have been a good addition.
the problem: The Battery. this thing is terrible. An acid-lead battery that is more than 6 lb. heavy, and it will power the lamp for only about 20 minutes. it takes more than 16 hours to recharge. it has no indicator to tell if the battery is full, half empty or completely discharged. this battery alone is heavier than all my gear combined (the camera, extra batteries, camera bag, tripod, mic,headphones, etc.) all for mere 20 minutes of mediocre quality light. Definitely not worth it.
