Who cares if it lasts 100 hours when the light quality absolutely sucks.
This light is inferior to the LED video lights. LED lights have an even beam, they stay cool (this is really nice if you have to throw it in your pocket, bag etc...), LED's batteries and bulbs last longer and charge faster. There are LED lights in this price range too and they are just as bright.
The "special battery offer coupon" that is included in the package is for almost the same price as a entire unit. They make it sound like a good deal too. I can't help but feel like they are trying to trick you into buying an inappropriately priced replacement battery. Batteries should be $8 max.
The beam intensity fades quickly and you almost see it drop as you are using it. I have a hard time seeing how this is even useful for video unless you had an extreme emergency it would not be my choice. The battery life is just enough for stills.
This is a solid feeling unit but it does not offer much more than a flashlight does and if you got the right flashlight it would be way better.
They could have at least included a dimmer..perhaps that would be one good feature on this near useless unit.

Great tool, battery power just not long enough. I hope SunPak engineers the next generation with at least a 1 hour battery life.

Battery life is short but as long as you have a charger and don't keep it on more than 3o seconds it does what I need it to do which is to provide a fill in low light conditions.

I use this little light for the ring shots and sometimes for portraits at night. It's a powerful light, don't let it's small size fool you. The only downside is that it only lasts for 10 minutes, but for photography it's perfect.

It's lightweight and very handy. I wish the light spread a little more even however. You can see the circular reflector dish in the beam of light it throws.

This light so simple you, can't get better than this for the price.--- Battery wise you can do what I did and use 2500mah NiMH -- replace the current battery and a little sorder and WHAM!! you got 33-37 min of run time, charges regular but longer like 16 hours

This light is perfect for those dark video moments. The light is bright enouph to video short scenes where there isn't much available light. Used it the first time at my niece's wedding reception and it works just fine. Short life span on a single charge is the only drawback!! You really need to pick your moments when to use the light and when you can do without.
