I Shoot video for Skydiving and had to ask around to try to find the best lens for capturing Skydiving in general. A friend told me hands down, buy this lens for your Sony CX-100 and you will have a great setup. Well he was right about everything. The camera shot good HD footage to begin with. Now, It looks like I went Blu-Ray. The Lens is sharp. Most lens will give you a 180 Deg spread but only 100-130 of it it in focus. Everything you shoot with this lens is in focus and really cuts back on giving you that normal Fisheye round effect we so need to get away from. This lens does a great job on all levels. Yes it might be a little heavy but you can't make a great lens with good glass without adding a little.
