Able to run continuously for over four hours on six AA batteries, the MPC500 comes complete with a 32-voice sampler that records 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV files for CD-quality sound. Up to 99 sequences with 48 tracks each can be created for a total of 100,000 notes. The MPC500 comes with 16MB of internal RAM, which can be expanded to 128MB with the optional EXM128 expansion card. A CompactFlash slot is also provided for storage on type I or II CompactFlash cards with capacities up to 2GB.
