Mark Wallace shows how to freeze the action with a simple speedlight flash and a digital camera. He’ll be smashing light bulbs, breaking eggs, and dropping strawberries. Although he’s using a Fujifilm X-Pro 1 digital camera for this image, this kind of image can be done with nearly any digital camera with manual exposure mode, a speedlight flash, and a couple of radio flash triggers.  With this simple setup, you can capture the motion of every smash, crash, and splash!
