A lot of my education teaches photographers the power of studio strobes… but guess what? I still LOVE natural light. There is just so much that can be achieved with nothing more than a window. In fact, whether I’m shooting a model portfolio or a portrait client, or even a commercial beauty campaign, I still often am using the stunning quality of window light.
In this video, I show you how to create a gorgeously glowing high-key beauty image using window light combined with a constant LED light source.
A window is a fantastic main light source for creating flattering light on the face. I add a twist to this setup, however, by using the Flashpoint FV200 pointed into a white V-flat World V-flat for a pure white, wrap-around background light.
