Narrative films tell a story. While there are many ways to tell your particular story, in most narrative films dialogue between characters plays a major role in the process.
Join Dave Brusca and Fernado Martinez, creators of the AdoramaTV series Film Form, OnSet with Daniel Norton as they walk you through the shooting of a short dialogue.
This hands-on workshop will primarily cover the lighting of the scene, we will also cover basic audio recording and camera angles/movement.
During the course of the event we will light and shoot two very different scenes, demonstrating the power of light to shape the emotional response of the viewer.
Sessions start at 12pm and 3pm. Come for one or come for both!

Dave Brusca is a Writer, DP, and Director in NYC with over a decade of experience shooting
Commercials, Music Videos, Events, and Films. Dave assists Daniel in producing On Set with Daniel Norton.
Fernando Martinez is a Writer, Director and Cinematographer based out of New York City, known for his straight forward attitude towards filmmaking and DIY approach.Aside from his filmmaking has shot and directed a number of Commercials, Music Videos, PSAs and Corporate work.
Daniel Norton is a Photographer, Creative Director and DP with over 15 years experience in the advertising and editorial markets. Daniel produces and hosts FREE weekly in-store trainings every Thursday as well as the Adorama TV series On Set with Daniel Norton.
