Even the most ordinary (even boring) location can become a great environment to create striking images if you know how to see the light and simplify your background.
In this video, I’ll share how I use a street corner in NYC to create three drastically different natural light images.
I use V-flats, Lensbaby Omni tools, mylar, and direct sunlight to achieve remarkably different results with just a few small changes.
Sure, the street is filled with cars, trash, and people… but selectively analyzing the location and finding the light makes it easy to create interesting shots!
