On this episode of The Video Show, the team from Adorama discusses the importance of setting marks. Marks are used to ensure that your actors start, stop and look in the proper direction to achieve consistent framing, lighting and focus. Marks are simple to set and the few minutes it takes to set them will save you time both on set and in the edit. Marks are also used for placement of objects and can be set up before props arrive to note their location for lighting and framing.
