Today Nikon announced the release of the much-anticipated D3400 DX-Format DSLR<\/a>, available at Adorama with the AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55MM F\/3.5-5.6G VR lens<\/a>  for $646.95.  The D3400 is an improvement on its predecessor, the D3300 and features a new 24.2MP sensor, much longer battery life, Snapbridge connectivity and incredible low-light performance with a native ISO range of 100-25,600. In addition to the D3400, Nikon also introduced 4 new Nikkor lenses, all new additions to their “P-series,” two of which feature Vibration Reduction (VR) features.<\/p>\n

The new compact D3400 DSLR is meant to be easily taken anywhere and Nikon is putting a lot of emphasis on the camera’s ability to work seamlessly with your smartphone, using Nikon’s exclusive Snapbridge to make photo sharing easy. The D3400 also boasts a battery rated to 1200 shots per charge, making it a huge step-up from the previous D3300 which is rated at 700 shots per charge.<\/p>\n
