It delivers 10 stops of dynamic range to match the 10-bit camera LOG footage, revealing detail in highlights and shadows that are usually clipped in final footage. It records and plays out Apple ProRes DNxHR in 4K resolution, 10-bit 4:2:2 color accuracy, and at frame rates of 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60p.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-31350 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/alc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Ninja20Inferno20Back20View.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"923\" height=\"585\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/alc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Ninja20Inferno20Back20View.jpg 923w, https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/alc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Ninja20Inferno20Back20View-300x190.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 923px) 100vw, 923px\" \/><br \/>\nThe Inferno includes a high-resolution 7-inch calibrated monitor that they claim offers 1500nit brightness for easy viewing without a hood for outdoor monitoring in the field. In the studio, users drop files directly onto the timeline, using XML tagging from the field. Audio is controlled via dedicated meters and menus with adjustments for frame delay and gain.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to its high resolution and brightness (Atmos claims 4x the brightness of conventional field monitors) operators can shoot outdoors without reflections washing out your image. This is an ideal setup for gimbals, Steadicam and director&#8217;s monitors.
