The photographers, listed below, cover a wide variety of specialties and focus areas. They join 23 other photographers who are already Nikon Ambassadors. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">These ambassadors work, according to the press release, &#8220;to empower creatives through education and inspiration, while working directly with Nikon to communicate valuable insights of the evolving industry.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Notably, the added photographers bring diversity to the group. Dorie Hagler wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/alc\/the-defiant-girl-and-diversity-in-the-camera-industry\"><span class=\"s3\">here in March of 2017<\/span><\/a> how the Nikon Ambassadors were 29% women; after these additions, women are now 39% of the Ambassadors. Kudos to Nikon for heading in the right direction!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Here are the new ambassadors and their specialties:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Chris Hershman (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/chrishershman\/\">@chrishershman<\/a>):<\/b> <a href=\"http:\/\/chrishershman.com\/\">Chris Hershman<\/a> is a filmmaker, photographer, and musician. She is also well-known as a teacher and writer.&nbsp;(And make sure to read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jewel-education.com\/phone-call-of-my-dreams-the-nikon-ambassador-invitation\/\"><span class=\"s3\">her piece<\/span><\/a> on being chosen as a Nikon Ambassador!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Keith Ladzinski (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ladzinski\/\">@ladzinski<\/a>):<\/b> Besides for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ladzinski.com\/\">Keith Ladzinski<\/a>&#8216;s amazing wildlife and nature work, he\u2019s also known for advertising and extreme sport photography.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Rod Mar (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/rodmarphoto\/\">@rodmarphoto<\/a>):<\/b> Action and sports photographer Rod Mar is the team photographer for the Seattle Seahawks. See his photo blog, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seahawks.com\/photos\/eye-on-the-hawks\/\">Eye on the Hawks<\/a>&#8221; for more inspiration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Kristi Odom (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kristiodom\/\">@kristiodom<\/a>): <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kristiodomfineart.com\/\">Kristi Odom<\/a> is a versatile wedding, portrait, and wildlife photographer. Her shooting styles often cross genres. Reviewing her website, it\u2019s hard to imagine that there\u2019s a place on earth that she hasn\u2019t already been to.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In all, Nikon has chosen an incredible group of photographers and educators to add to the Nikon Ambassador program.
