The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is being inundated with car tech, in a good way. In fact, the entire north concourse at the Las Vegas Convention Center is dedicated strictly to transportation and automotive companies. Below are a few of our favorite products and companies from CES 2019.<\/p>\n

Volkswagen Portable DC Charging Stations<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This is for those of you who have (or are interested in getting) an electric vehicle. If you have the problem of not having a permanent place to charge your car, Volkswagen is hoping to bring a charging station to you. This year, they\u2019ve introduced a mobile charging unit that can be delivered straight to you, wherever that may be. This could be super useful for those that live in cities and have to either park their cars on the street or don\u2019t have access to garages to charge. Up to 15 cars can be charged at one station, with an average of only 17 minutes to charge up.<\/p>\n

Disney\/Audi VR In-Car Entertainment<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Disney, Audi, and virtual reality? We couldn\u2019t ask for a cooler combo. Audi has teamed up with Disney to create a product that syncs with the movements of your car in a virtual reality-based video game. This can turn a regular old trip to the grocery store into an immersive experience. An example includes going into outer space to help Rocket Racoon and Iron Man blast asteroids into pieces while shooting lasers at alien enemies. We can already tell we\u2019ll be fighting the kids for a turn with this one.<\/p>\n

Bosch Perfectly Keyless<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If you\u2019re someone who loses their car keys a lot, this might be perfect for you. Bosch created a system that lets you start your car from an app on your smartphone. They also promise that this will make cars way more complicated to hack into. And users won\u2019t even need to get their phones out and hold it up to the car to unlock it, because the sensors read the digital key from your pocket. You can also use the app to open the trunk, open or close the windows, or trigger panic mode when you\u2019ve lost your car in the parking garage.<\/p>\n

Harley-Davidson LiveWire Electric Motorcycle<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Harley-Davidson is revolutionizing the motorcycle game with their first all-electric bike: LiveWire. This baby will be able to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, and is designed to produce \u201ca new signature Harley-Davidson sound as it accelerates,\u201d meaning you won\u2019t miss out on that Harley rumble. Harley says that it will be able to go for 110 city miles on a single charge. No word yet on how that translates for highway use. Harley also claims that LiveWire is the first mass-marketed cellular-connected electric motorcycle.<\/p>\n
