The PreSonus StudioLive 32<\/a> digital mixer is a heavy-duty, professional-grade tool for sound, and now it\u2019s getting an exceptional expansion. PreSonus is releasing four different models based off of the StudioLive 32<\/a> \u2014 each functioning seamlessly as a studio or live mixer and recorder. The combination of AVB networking, Studio One software, USB recording interface, Fat channels, and more, make any of StudioLive models a dynamic partner to any musician, producer, and sound mixer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The features you need to know:<\/b><\/h4>\n

Each of the four Series III models<\/a> are designed slightly differently, but all share a core of StudioLive features. First, they all integrate AVB (audio video bridging) networking, which allows users to smoothly send signals across devices to setup their desired rig. All four mixers can be linked to analog stage boxes, AVB switches, monitor mixers, and more, making live performances a dream.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, each StudioLive mixer harbors an incredible 128-channel (64×64) USB recording interface, the most of any mixer. Again, 128 channels<\/em>. This extraordinary amount of channels gives users the freedom to run all kinds of mics and instruments. Depending on the mixer, users have access to 32 or 16 mic preamps to magnify signals to optimal levels, and 76 or 40 mixing channels for more specialized adjustments and effects. <\/span><\/p>\n

The number of motorized faders ranges from 17 to 33 for channels assignment and levels monitoring. Users can customize the layout for their faders to fit their needs. Furthermore, users can efficiently manage groups and buses if they\u2019re working with customized sets or several inputs. Another popular feature across the Series III units are the Fat channels that lend users quick access and control over all channels with one touch. Instead of modifying the dynamics or adding a compressor on one track, Fat channels apply quick changes across the board. <\/span><\/p>\n

Series III mixers take the computer out of recording with StudioLive Capture. Users are can simply insert an SD card into the dashboard and record studio sessions or live sets right onto the mixer. Once recorded, the mix can be edited using PreSonus\u2019 Studio mixing software. But for users committed to existing software, the StudioLive mixers are optimized for Pro Tools and Logic.<\/span><\/p>\n

StudioLive 64S<\/a><\/b><\/h4>\n

The 64S<\/a> is the flagship mixer of the Series III. As the name suggests, the unprecedented mixer has 64-channels, which is basically two 32-channel mixers tucked under a 33-fader dashboard. The 64S features the Quad Core FLEX DPS that can handle 526 simultaneous effects. The back panel is loaded with 32 mic preamps and the ability to add another 32 via AVB. It has 76 mixing channels and a 64×64 USB interface. <\/span><\/p>\n

StudioLive 32S<\/a><\/b><\/h4>\n

The 32S<\/a> has the same features as the StudioLive 32, but includes firmware upgrades that greatly increase processing. The mixer comes with 32 mic preamps, 33 faders, 128-channel USB recording, and 40 mixing channels.<\/span><\/p>\n

StudioLive 32SX<\/a><\/b><\/h4>\n

The 32SX<\/a> is replacing the StudioLive 24. The 32SX fits in the old StudioLive 24 frame, but includes 32 rear inputs with 25-fader control. The SX can run 286 simultaneous effects, 40-mixing channels, and 64×64 USB recording. <\/span><\/p>\n

StudioLive 32SC<\/a><\/b><\/h4>\n
