Featuring a nuanced look and inspired by the bloom of a flower, the new Sumire Prime cinema lenses<\/a> from Canon are all about delivering improved imaging capabilities to a growing number of production objectives. The seven lenses, announced today, “offer a unique artistically pleasing look with gentle and beautiful skin tones and smooth bokeh, designed for use with large-sensor cinema cameras, including 35mm full-frame cameras such as the EOS C700FF Cinema Camera,” Canon announced<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Ranging from 14mm to 135mm focal lengths, all of the new Sumire Prime series lenses feature bright T-stops and an 11-blade iris, which results in gorgeous bokeh at any aperture, along with warmer colors, and reduced focus breathing. <\/p>\n
