Sigma has just upped its offering for full-frame mirrorless cameras, thanks to the launch of three new lenses, each for both L-mount and Sony E-mount systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Sigma\u00a045mm F2.8 DG DN prime lens is from the company’s Contemporary line<\/a>. This lens is a compact, easy-to-carry unit that is packed with high optical performance features. It offers beautiful bokeh, thanks to a suppressed spherical aberration. It allows for three-dimensional subject impressions, a minimum focusing distance of 24cm (9.4 inches), so it’s an ideal all-day lens. Finally, this Sigma lens features 8 elements in 7 groups, and a 7-blade rounded diaphragm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High-speed and accurate auto-focus are supported by a stepping motor and features Face and Eye Detection AF. The dust- and splash-proof body features an aperture ring, an easily removable bayonet hood, and full-time manual mode.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter, the very first wide-angle, F\/1.2 AF lens for the Sony E-Mount and L-Mount systems. This newest Art line addition has three SLD glass elements and three aspherical lenses. Also, it has a double-sided aspherical lens, all working in a construction of 17 elements in 12 groups.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The large-diameter lens has a 50 million-pixel resolution. Plus, it has a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) that drives the focus lens group. It uses the lens’ torque which is managed by the focus ring. The aperture ring features a de-click function that takes away clicks and makes video recording even smoother.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lens has a full-time manual mode, is created to keep flare and ghosting at a minimum. Also, the AFL button’s customizable with the photographer’s desired function. All of this sits in a dust- and splash-proof body that is also water- and oil-repellant, making it an ideal companion for on-the-road shooting.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Astrophotographers, rejoice! This new 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN lens from Sigma is created with star-filled skies in mind. The wide-angle zoom features high-resolution image quality with low dispersion glass elements, all in a tough-proofed body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This newest lens joins the Sigma Art line and has a large diameter and short flange focal length, and new Nano Porous Coating (NPC). All of the lens features work in tandem to produce incredible resolution, and the stepping motor allows for high-speed, while quiet, auto-focus shooting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lens also has a built-in rear filter holder and a fall prevention lock that’ll let astro photographers capture the skies with ease. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
