It’s been more than two years since Nikon first unveiled its revolutionary full-frame Z 6 and Z 7 mirrorless cameras<\/a>, and now the company has announced the second generation of its flagship imaging powerhouses. The Nikon Z 6II<\/a> and Z 7II<\/a>, announced today, continue to expand upon the brand’s impressive mirrorless capabilities. <\/p>\n

The Nikon Z 6II builds upon the impressive technology of the original Nikon Z 6. The new camera \u2014 a hybrid stills and video mirrorless giant \u2014 features high-speed shooting and 4K Ultra HD video at 60p. <\/p>\n

With impressive performance in low light situations thanks to the 24.5MP BSI resolution and a hybrid AF system with 273 points and 14fps, capturing fast-moving subjects or those in dimly-lit spaces becomes easier than ever. On top of this, Nikon has also built in two card slots (for CFexpress\/XQD + UHS-II SD) and dual processors for added versatility and extended shooting powers.  <\/p>\n

Content creators will appreciate the full pixel readout with 4K UHD 60p, and the 3.5-times improved buffer capacity for faster continuous shooting. <\/p>\n

The ergonomic-friendly camera has a new vertical battery grip, and a USB-C input allows for quick charging during longer shoot days. Finally, the camera’s mount makes it compatible with the brand’s ever-growing line of NIKKOR Z lenses. Not to mention, it’s compatible with F-mount lenses using the FTZ adapter.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Nikon Z 7II expands upon the Nikon Z 7’s legacy as a mighty high resolution tool. The new camera has a 45.7MP sensor and 4K UHD 60p video for smooth, ultra-high resolution performance. <\/p>\n

Like the Nikon Z 6II, the Z 7II has dual card slots, 3.5-times more buffer capacity than the previous generation, and boosted AF performance. The camera’s body has also been reimagined and an added vertical grip allows for even more versatility and comfort while shooting. <\/p>\n
