In addition to its 28MP APS CMOS sensor, it offers an eye-popping 15fps burst rate and is capable of shooting 4k and full HD video. The camera is now the Samsung still-camera flagship model.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/isgnx1.html\">Samsung NX1<\/a> Key Features<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>28MP 22.5&#215;15.7mm BSI CMOS sensor<\/li>\n<li>Image Stabilization<\/li>\n<li>3-inch, 1036k dot resolution LCD monitor<\/li>\n<li>Digital viewfinder<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid Phase Detection\/Contrast Autofocus<\/li>\n<li>30-1\/8000 sec shutter speeds<\/li>\n<li>ISO range 100-25,600, extendable to 52,200<\/li>\n<li>15fps burst rate<\/li>\n<li>Built-in flash<\/li>\n<li>RAW and JPEG stills<\/li>\n<li>4k Video at 30fps, Full HD at up to 60fps; MP4<\/li>\n<li>Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The 28MP sensor is one of the highest-resolution APS sensors on the market, and a backside illuminated CMOS promises excellent image quality. The traditional DSLR-styled body is water- and dust-proof, constructed from Magnesium Alloy.<\/p>\n<p>One of the NX1&#8217;s more eye-catching specs is its unusually fast 15fps burst rate, with focus tracking, making it well-suited for sports photography. There are 205 phase detection and 209 contrast AF focus points, resulting in a claimed 0.05 sec High Speed AF acquisition. There&#8217;s also a TTL metering system that measures exposures using multi-center-weighted and spot metering targets. Exposure compensation is +\/-5EV in 1\/3-step increments. The camera also offers on-board HDR.<\/p>\n<p>The NX1 has a pop-up flash that covers up to a 28mm field, but external flash is available. Sync speed is 1\/250 sec and flash output can be adjusted to +\/-3EV. First and second curtain flash are available.<\/p>\n<p>The camera accommodates NX-mount lenses, which use a proprietary Samsung mount. Newer lenses have an &#8220;i-Function&#8221; ring that is used to adjust aperture, shutter speed, EV, ISO, White Balance and i-Zoom by turning a ring on the lens barrel. (Samsung was the first company to introduce this feature; some other manufacturers have followed suit.)<\/p>\n<p>For videographers, the NX1 boasts 4k Ultra HD video capture at 24 and 30p. The camera has a mic input and headphone jack.<\/p>\n<p>The<a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/isgnx1.html\">Samsung NX1<\/a> will be available from Adorama in October for $1,499. A<a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/isgvgnx01.html\">vertical grip<\/a> is also being announced; it will cost $249.99.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/alc\/wp-content\/uploads\/alc_images\/article14843_4.jpg\"><br \/>\nSamsung 50-150mm f\/2.8 S lens<\/p>\n<p>Samsung also introduced a <a title=\"Samsung 50-150mm f2.8 S lens\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/isg50150.html\">50-150mm f\/2.8 S lens<\/a>, a pro-oriented zoom lens with a 35mm equivalent 75-200mm range. The lens includes an i-Function adjustment ring, AF\/MF and custom switches, as well as built-in IOS image optical stabilization. Sealed against rain and dust, the lens is constructed of 20 lens elements in 13 groups including four extra dispersion and one Hyper Shield coating. It has a closest focus distance of 0.7 meters, A tripod mount collar is included. The lens accepts 72mm filters.
