In your mind, go through possible scenarios and envision the gear you will need. Seeing your gear and going through the motions of photographing will help ensure that you have the right gear for the right photos while you are on location.<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that all this stuff is not in my bag at one time. The location and subject determine the gear I use. Also, I have all my computer gear \u2014 laptop, charger, card readers, back-up drives, etc. \u2014 in a separate roller bag.<\/p>\n<h2>Okay, here\u2019s a look at my photography gear:<\/h2>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/car6.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon EOS R6<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 This is my main camera for all my photography.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/car5.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Canon EOS R5<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 This is my camera for when I need large files for large prints.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/car.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Canon EOS R<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 This is my back-up camera because I always like to have two active cameras \u2014 one with a wide-angle zoom and one with a telephoto zoom.<\/p>\n<h2>Here\u2019s a look at my lenses:<\/h2>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/car241054.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2 Canon RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 \u00a0This is my favorite all-around lens and I can\u2019t be without one, so I bring a back-up.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/car1535.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Canon RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM<\/strong> <\/a>\u2013 This is for landscape and cityscape photography.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/car100500.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Canon RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 This is my #1 wildlife lens.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/ca14x.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Canon Extender RF1.4x<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 This is for extending the zoom range of my Canon RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM \u2013 to get even \u201ccloser\u201d to wildlife.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/ca8154.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon EF 8-15mm f\/4L Fisheye USM<\/a> with <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/carcrma.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 This is great for fun fisheye effect photos.<\/p>\n<h2>Other stuff you see here:<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/ca600ex2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Canon EX600-RT speedlite<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 I use this for daylight fill-in flash shots.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/caste32.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon ST-E3-RT speedlite transmitter<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 This is to trigger my speedlite.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunnysports.com\/p-bioh2\/biolite-headlamp-200\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Head lamp<\/a>\u00a0(alternative option linked)\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 I use this to set up in the dark hands-free.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/plplbelite.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Platyball ball head<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 \u2013 This is for easy camera positioning.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/icalce6.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon battery chargers<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 I need to keep my batteries charged.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/icalpe6nh.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon batteries<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 I use these to power my cameras.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/br171001.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black Rapid camera strap<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 This is for quick access to my camera.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/icdsdg200032.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon micro-fiber lens cleaning cloth<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 It&#8217;s important to keep your lenses clean.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CPS card wallet with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/icdcfst56051.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Delkin Devices Cfast and SD cards<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 This is for recording my memories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Playing cards<\/strong> \u2014 I always need my \u201cbreaking the ice\u201d card tricks in foreign lands.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/gtrab.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blower<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 This is for sensor cleaning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toothbrush<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 I use a toothbrush to clean the joints of my tripod after working in the sand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lens hoods<\/strong> \u2014 This is to protect my lenses.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/btx2nd382.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Breakthrough Photography 3-Stop<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 This is for shooting at slow shutter speeds.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/btx2nd1077mm.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breakthrough Photography 10-Stop ND filters<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 This is for shooting at slow shutter speeds in very bright light.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/btx2cpl82.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Breakthrough Photography Polarizing filter<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 I need this to reduce glare on water and foliage, and to darken a blue sky.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adorama.com\/otrsl.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Op-tech rain sleeve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 \u00a0Beware of rain!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arca-Swiss plate<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; This is to mount my camera on my ball head.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CPS water bottle<\/strong> \u2014 It&#8217;s best to stay hydrated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eye covers<\/strong> \u2014 I can sleep on the plane.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guitar
