Throughout the year, National Geographic publishes a Photo of the Day on its website throughout the year, photos taken from professionals and amateurs on Nat Geo\u2019s YourShot community. For those of us that follow the series, it\u2019s a great way to see some of the most captivating wildlife photography taken around the world today. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, as 2015 came to a close, Nat Geo decided to compile the best of the year, giving a quick look at the 20 most popular photos they highlighted last year. You can view their list here<\/a>. The other 345 photos are all stunning as well, as is all of National Geographic’s YourShot photography. To highlight some of that great work as well, here’s our own list of the best National Geographic photography of 2015, taken from their Photos of the Day and YourShot photography. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
