Rock and Roll has lost another one of the greats, Glenn Frey, guitarist and founding member of the Eagles. Frey passed away yesterday at the age of 67. The band\u2019s publicist posted a message on the Eagles\u2019 website confirming Frey\u2019s passing. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cGlenn fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks but, sadly, succumbed to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia,\u201d reads the post. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Frey wasn\u2019t just known for being a world-class guitarist, he and the Eagles were also unparralleled performers and showmen famous for creating some of rock\u2019s most iconic moments in the \u201870s and \u201880s.
