The neck is a \u201cC\u201d shape, which is the most common and is shaped like a half-oval. The neck finish is Satin Polyurethane, and you may choose a Rosewood or Maple fingerboard, which has a 9.5\u201d radius for optimal action and playability.<\/p>\n<p>There are 22 Jumbo frets and a synthetic bone nut. Classic Fender tuning machines will keep your instrument sounding sweet, and the 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo might get you sounding sultry too. The Texas Special\u2122 Single-Coil Strat Pickups provide all the rock, twang, and bell-like clean tones you could ever ask for.<\/p>\n<p>The five-position pickup switching blade gives you tonal control \u2013 use the neck pick up for a darker rhythm guitar sound or more rolled off lead, the bridge pickup for more bright and aggressive tone or a marble-y clean tone, and the middle pickup for added variety. The other two positions use either the bridge and middle pickup, or the neck and middle pickup, and aside from the additional variance in tonal character, these options excellent at eliminating hum from a buzzy amp.<\/p>\n<p>The big news this year is\u2026 SUNBURST IS BACK! Thank god. The new color options are 2-color sunburst for the standard strat and 3-color sunburst for the other designs, which include:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/alc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/default\/files\/uploads\/specialstratocasterhss.jpg\" style=\"width: 750px; height: 281px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The American Special Stratocaster HSS<\/strong> has the same build specs but has an Atomic humbucker pickup at the bridge, providing a warmer, more pillowy clean tone or a deeper, richer distortion.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/alc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/default\/files\/uploads\/american%20telecaster.jpg\" style=\"width: 750px; height: 285px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The American Special Telecaster <\/strong>has similar specs as well, but is a very different look and feel. It has a three-position pickup switch instead of a 5-position because it only has 2 Texas Special\u2122 single-coil Tele pickups. You can select the bridge pickup, bridge\/neck, or neck. Additionally the special Greasebucket\u2122 Tone Circuit allows you to roll off the high end of your pickup tone without adding bass.<\/p>\n<p>In case if you were wondering just how you would carry
