The NYC-based production company ProMedia has partnered with Adorama Business Solutions to build a new video podcast studio. Building up its video podcast opportunities, the company is expanding its multimedia offerings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will the planned upgrades entail and how will this help solve a business pain?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the office computer and hard drive upgrades to support the overall business expansion, ProMedia sought to add video capabilities to its existing podcast studio<\/a>. This required lighting, video cameras and video switching gear and will allow ProMedia to facilitate new projects and expand its client base. While the team had some experience in video equipment, there was a gap in expertise in live switching, which ProMedia needed to solve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was the discovery process like when choosing a vendor and how was Adorama Business Solutions ultimately selected as partner in this project?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As the team began looking for partners that would fit the project requirements, Adorama Business Solutions stood out due to the quick response times received from ProMedia\u2019s dedicated Account Manager during the discovery and sales process. We deemed it necessary to involve Adorama\u2019s Technical Services team to find the best gear for ProMedia\u2019s needs. We had a site visit, which helped clarify the scope of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What happened during the on-site consultation?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Adorama\u2019s Technical Services team met with the team at ProMedia for a 45-minute on-site discussion, which went in-depth into the requirements for the new podcasting studio. ProMedia\u2019s overall goals were addressed and expectations were set for what could realistically be achieved within the agreed budget. After the visit, a detailed Bill of Materials was provided to ProMedia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was there anything else that made Adorama Business Solutions stand out during the purchasing process? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the entire process, from discovery through to purchase, the attentiveness of service made Adorama Business Solutions not only a vendor from which to purchase equipment, but a partner who works hand-in-hand with ProMedia to understand its goals and deliver a solution customized to individual needs of the business.<\/p>\n\n\n

After the initial on-site consultation, Technical Services provided a detailed Bill of Materials covering the recommended equipment. This was refined through a series of conversations with ProMedia and Adorama\u2019s Technical Services team to find the ultimate package solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the products were purchased was there any additional support from Adorama Business Solutions?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yes, as an Adorama Business Solutions client, ProMedia has access to a dedicated Account Manager on hand to answer any technical or order-related questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you describe in a few sentences how Adorama Business Solutions helped with this project and why you recommend working with the team there?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Building a video studio has been a ton of work, more than I think we all anticipated. Working with Adorama Business Solutions meant I could stay a lot more focused on the rest of my work, which doesn\u2019t go away. So it took a lot off of my plate in terms of legwork in finding the right solutions, and then also there\u2019s a huge amount of comfort in having a dedicated account manager as a troubleshooting partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alternative would have been to show up somewhere with a bunch of money to spend and some hope I might spend it correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n
