Not worth the hassle

Due to using quite a few USB ports simultaneously, I was looking to have additional options and thought this product would be a great option. Wow, I couldn't have been more wrong. What would normally take about 5-6 minutes to transfer about 8GB worth of RAW files to my external hard drive would have taken at least an hour or more with this product. The transfer speed slowed down considerably to the point of not even making it worth using. I'll take the time to unplug any USB devices I'm not using as opposed to deal with the slowness that I experienced with this product. Greatly disappointed!
