I have several different APC back up batteries and you have to do a deep dive to figure out which battery goes with each back up batteries.

Always buy APC replacement batteries so there's no question about safety or reliability. Plus, recycling was a breeze. Thanks to APC's recycling guide I found a source that included a shipping label for free UPS transport to the facility.

On the second day after replacing my APC UPS battery, the supply to my house "glipped" - it was nice to hear the reassuring bleep and my PC stayed on - great. Hopefully paying twice the price of a "no-name" (made in Vietnam as China was to expensive !) battery ensures it will last for many years.

After a troublefree experience with APC backup battery plug in, the battery appeared to quit and I ordered a new one. Since 3-4 years had passed this was reasonable. I only have internet and security camera system plugged in. After initially working, the system with newly installed battery didn't work. I emailed and also called. The toll free number kept saying "Your estimated wait time is 1 minute" but I was on hold 23 minutes. Then when a guy answered and I described the issue and asked if he had any ideas for me to troubleshoot, also telling him what I had tried, he said oh yes we can work on it? and disconnected. As for tge email to service, no reply.

This is the second replacement battery I have needed for my APC 500 Which I have been using for more than a decade. It has been a terrific back up and a comfort knowing my computer has a safeguard. I was pleasantly surprised this battery replacement is still available from APC so that I didn't have to get an aftermarket replacement. Keep up the great work and I highly recommend APC.

Battery great, but lesser rating because vendor will not include UPS or FedEX pre-paid label to return battery being replaced. Kind of chintzy, if you ask me.
