The Archos Arnova 9 G2 4 GB Android 2.3 Tablet features a harmonious balance of processing power and affordability. Unlike its predecessor, the Arnova 9 G2 features a TFT LCD 9.7" capacitive multi-touch IPS display. The display features 1024 x 768 HD resolution and is capable of playing back video in 1080p full HD. For storing your media, the 9 G2 Tablet is equipped with 4 GB of flash storage. If that's not enough, the microSD/SDHC slot offers plenty of storage expansion.
Like many other Archos tablets, the 9 G2 excels as a media player. With the ability to play several different video and audio codecs, you'll be hard pressed to find a file that this tablet doesn't support. It can even display four different photo file types as well. The Arnova 9 G2 is packed with apps as well. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS supports the Android AppsLib and the tablet comes loaded with a full pack of apps including a web browser and an email application. For users that like to put a little bit of themselves into their technology, the 9 G2 allows advanced personalization. You can choose your user interface from five different home screens and you can create widgets for your apps, which gives you what you want - when you want it.
Although the 9 G2 Tablet is geared towards media playback, it does offer a full Internet experience. It's outfitted with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, which affords Internet access from any Wi-Fi hotspot, as well as from your home wireless network. Plus, with an optional G9 USB Stick (sold separately) you can connect via 3G through your favorite carrier. The display's high-resolution screen is perfect for browsing the web; there's no need to zoom in or out, since the tablet supports full-page web browsing. Plus, with Flash support, you experience the full web with flash games and videos. There are also apps for all your favorite social networking sites including YouTube and Facebook. The 9 G2 affords wired connectivity as well. It's equipped with a USB 2.0 host port and micro USB 2.0 slave port.
With the addition of a 1.0 GHz processor, the Arnova 9 G2 can play 1080p file videos smoothly. It's even easy to transfer files, via drag and drop, from your PC to the tablet's micro SDHC card. If you're still not convinced, the 9 G2 is worth its amazingly low price tag and then a few more integrated features are sure to make you all fans. The tablet features a forward-facing camera, as well as a unique kickstand that makes sharing photos and watching videos much more enjoyable. It has dual integrated speakers and a built-in microphone as well. It even has a G-Sensor and the internal lithium polymer battery can support up to 6.25 hours of straight video playback time and 25 hours of music playback.
