The Atlona VGA Extender with Audio over Cat5 consists of a sender and a receiver and is capable of transmitting VGA and audio signals via Cat5 / 5e / 6 cable up to 600' (183 m). In addition to high resolution support for up to 2048 x 1536 pixels, the extender supports DDC2B function and is UTP / STP-compatible. No software is required for installation as the devices offer Plug & Play operation. Both the sender and receiver cables are equipped with built-in LEDs that indicate system status. A built-in equalizer in the receiver helps to adjust image quality.
