This muslin backdrop is a good affordable option for anyone building their backdrop collection. I have several of Adorama's solid Belle Drape muslins and have developed a system for working with these light but wrinkle-prone fabrics -- hangout the night before and spray down with water. Crumple loosely into a carry bag just before a location shoot and then spray and let hang to get the wrinkles out while setting up the rest of the set. The finishing on these muslins is okay -- it's not the highest quality -- but they work just fine and I enjoy having a couple of different colors. This gray is also a great multi-purpose option popular for headshots.

Portable. Good color tone for adding color gels for effect. VERY thin; you'll need dark fabric behind if it's near any windows.

Coupled with my Savage Port-a-stand, this background served me very well when I recently shot a wedding. I only wish it was longer; i could have used a 15 or 20 footer (one of which I will be ordering at my next opportunity). It seems sturdy enough and is very close to matching an 18% gray card. This backgound is an excellent value.
