Apart from using them with your phone, they are great for close-up photography. Sometimes you just need a little extra light to make that mushroom or flower pop. These LEDs are perfect for those situations. You can hand-hold and position them wherever you want to achieve nice back-lit or side-lit images, and you can adjust the strength of the light. Highly recommend.

I don't have an old iphone that fits this case, however, I didn't buy it for the case. I bought it to have a small, LED light to take around with me. I'm a fan of Manfrotto products so I figured for the price it was definitely worth it. It's very compact and good for lighting things like plates of sushi and wedding rings. Hey, who doesn't like things that light up? The on switch is also a dimmer. Plus, you can mount it to a hot/cold shoe. Neat!

A practical solution for those moments with a digital camera or iPhone when you want to shoot a video clip instead of stills. Also works well as a fill light (variable output!) for those occasional shots with harsh lighting. Using on a Canon EOS 5D with included adapter.

Bought the ML240LED because of the great price offered. Got the KLYP part as a bonus. A very compact and easy to use LED with a dimmer for color change.
