To pay for my college days I was a Rock Jock on the radio, when monaural A.M. radio was how you heard your tunes and a 1st class Engineers license was necessary from the F.C.C. to be a D.J. of any kind on a set pattern A.M. station. The price I paid was my hearing (especially the high sound range). It was to the point where I had to either wear wireless head phone to hear what was going on when I turned the TV on at night, or I would have to turn the sound up so loud, that my wife's hearing was being affected. I bought the Bose unit b4 I even heard it. Since using Bose speakers on my computer, I was sold on the way they worked. When I saw the Solo, I bought one and my wife didn't say a thing. Took it home and plugged in the power plug and the other wire it had into our T.V. and wondered how I got along without it from the first rich sound from those tiny speakers that Bose is able to do.

Not only easily setup but fantastic sound. My husband is unable to hear some tones. With the Bose TV Sound System he can hear everything so the volume does not have to be blasting everyone else out of the room!! I don't know how they do it but a great product. By the way, my husband is a broadcaster!!

The sound from the solo is much better than the other sound system I had. The unit is compact but has a very rich sound compared to my other system with a lot larger speakers.

The Bose Solo TV Sound System is simple to set up, fits neatly under your HDTV and reveals more dialogue, sound effects and music. Proprietary Bose technology brings out the details the listener is meant to hear, clearly and naturally, at any volume. Initial setup includes one wire to the TV, one wire to the wall and it's ready to go. one listen will show that there's more to experience in TV shows than thought possible.
