I have used the black rapid sling for several years and like it very much. My only issue was its tendency to slide around on my shoulder. The under the arm strap has ended that problem entirely and I am indeed very pleased with it.. Highly recommended for any one who uses the Black Rapid shoulder sling.

Most Helpful Accessory I Ever Bought! I have used a BlackRapid strap for some time and found it more convenient and comfortable than other straps that I've had. However, it was annoying that the strap would move when I lifted the camera and I was constantly readjusting it. This addition solved that problem permanently. It now stays put no matter how many times I lift the camera to shoot. It certainly has made the use of the BlackRapid strap a joy!! If you have a BlackRapid strap without the Underarm Stabilizer I would say - "GET ONE NOW!"

After many months of frustration, I came across this essential accessory. This strap is the perfect complement to the classic RS-4. It prevents the RS-4 pad from moving off the shoulder. The only complain I have is, as many have stated, that the brad strap should have been included originally with the RS-4.

While this strap helps stablilize my RS-7, it really should be included with any strap it supports. While the RS-7 is a great strap, it slides on your shoulder if you are wearing a slick fabric (nylon, polyesther). This strap keeps the shoulder pad of the RS-7 in place, but I am not happy that I had to spend another $15 to make the strap work with such garments.

I purchased this along with a Black Rapid RS7 Strap and while I love the RS7 Strap, I've not found a suitable use for the stabilizer. Hence it lays in a drawer, unused. Normally I am shooting with a (pro size) DSLR w/attached battery grip and a relatively heavy lens. I frequently walk, hike, backpack or boat and periodically shoot in crowds. And, did I say "I've not found a suitable use for the stabilizer."
