Does the job with a LOT OF WASTE

The labeler does the job but wastes a lot of the proprietary tape in the process. Thus, making it expensive to use.

Nice piece of equipment

This device is easy to use and I like how many different sized labels I can use. Also has a good bar code capability.

LOVE IT! A must have in the office/home!

We've been using this device in our office for more than 5 years. It's robust, allows us to create labels for file folders, wiring, cables, charges, equipment, etc. The list is endless on what this thing can do. It's a must have in the office or your home.

PT-1400

Works great - our company had a previous version and we had lots of tape. So updating was the best choice. Straight forward to use and prints clearly. I do wish that in the pre made label designs there was something for wiring as this is 90% of what we will use it for.

Labeler for all

This unit has it all.\ Pros : Took 1 minute to install the batteries and label tape and 30 seconds to print my first label. Also prints various barcode types and graphic symbols. Cons : Bulkier than I expected for a handheld

We purchased a PT-1400 for our company, they claim that its for commercial use. (Our usage was very seldom. In less then 3 mos. the cutter for the tape went dull and wouldn't cut correctly.As well as the feed for the tape would all bunch up. $104.99 (not worth the money.) We called and Brother only offered to have us send it out for repair at our cost.. PLUS shipping. No Product replacement. P.S. Avg. cost of 1" tape cartridge in yellow is $27.99 Ouch...if you use it alot.
