About Brunton Conventional Pocket Transit, 0-360deg. Azimuth Scale

The Brunton Conventional Pocket Transit (0-360deg. Azimuth Scale) is an analog navigation device built to resist magnetic interference and deliver accurate readings. This configuration of the Transit series uses Alnico II magnets to resist demagnetization and align with magnetic north better than most magnetic materials. An induction dampened needle and V-cut sapphire bearing improve the accuracy and speed of readings. For enhanced reliability and accuracy, the cast aluminum housing can be tripod mounted with Brunton's ball and socket mount.
