B + W 55mm Warm Tone Circular Polarizer Coated Glass Filter with 81-C (KR3)

This unique filter combines the advantages of a polarizer and a warming filter.It brings together the advantages of both filters in color photography while producing impressive photographs with not only vibrant colors but also a very pleasing warm tonal quality. Available in linear or circular. Filter factor is 2.3 to 2.8.

Polarizer filters evenly increase color saturation of all colors (except black and white), creating deep, rich scenics. They add contrast for dramatic skies and ariel shots. Polarizers also eliminate glare from highly reflected surfaces like glass and water. Polarizers are two part lenses that rotate, allowing you to select the degree of additional saturation, contrast and glare reduction desired.

"81" series are color corrective filters that 'warm' bluish tones. They are avaible in several strengths (A, B, C & EF) with 'A' being the mildest warming effect. Available in all popular sizes.
