"Hot" Battery!

Most rechargeable 9V batteries are actually only 8.2V when fully charged, leading to problems with some electronics designed for 9V. Typical batteries just have insufficient staying power and need almost constant replacement. This battery is designed to fill the gap for power hungry applications like paint ball guns and DCC model railroad throttles, with an actual output of 9.6V when fully charged. These also maintain their charge in storage for extended periods, so you are not constantly plugging them into the charger whether used or simply waiting to be used. This is the battery of choice for model train clubs using wireless DCC throttles, and for good reason. They are individually more expensive than alkaline batteries, but the latter only last a few hours at most, so in the long run they are much more expensive than the Imedion. Similarly, the typical rechargeable battery will be drained very quickly, so your operating sessions are constantly being interrupted by "battery breaks".
