gets the job done and looks good too

Excellent product, covers head and neck with style. Drawstring feature good for windy days. Hat is indispensible when doing any prolonged solar viewing. Especially useful when using the telecope as a teaching tool or for public outreach when you need to be exposed to the Sun while instructing others.

Effective sun blocker, if not stylish.

Especially useful if you will be out in direct sunlight for long periods of time. I use it when I have the solar telescope set up and it makes all the difference. I especially need it because I don't have any 'natural sunblock' on my head (aka - hair), but it also protects the back of your neck and ears.
