This bag is HUGE! I don't think I would want to wear it while hiking for any long length of time but it is perfect for storing all my gear in one place as well a safely transporting it in my jeep as it is dust proof. The bag is super sturdy and protects well with excellent padding. The main zipper sticks while unzipping a bit but may be due to its newness. It's annoying all the same.. I store a pro-body with a 24-70 2.8 on the camera, 2 flash units, the rest of the holy trinity lenses as well as a 50mm prime, 85mm prime, 60mm macro prime, a Leica d-Lux, Pocketflash units, and I STILL HAVE ROOM LEFT OVER!!! This is a great storage backpack that you can put on and hike with if you have to. I also have a smaller backpack I prefer to actually hike with that I fill with what I will need for the hike or event.. I would highly recomend this bag to safely store all your gear in.
