About Chimera 2935QR Metal Quick Release Speed Ring

The center of the versatile Chimera Lightbank System is the Speed Ring which allows you to connect your Lightbank to a continuous source lighting instrument. Dedicated Speed Rings are uniquely designed to fit a specific lighting fixture.

Chimera's newest innovation is the Quick Release Speed Ring. This ground breaking ring allows the release of Lightbank pole tension easily, with merely the flip of a lever. Ideal for the quick folding of Lightbanks to move through doorways or narrow sets.

The cost of the Quick Release Speed Ring is only fractionaly higher than the regular "static" Speed Rings. The time savings and ease of use is well worth the difference, as the quick set-up and take down of Lightbanks and softboxes becomes as easy as flipping a lever.
