Calibrated Software MP4-EX Specifications

  • MXF Import: Mac OSX Requirements

    MacIntel Computer with OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard) OR 10.6.8 or greater (Snow Leopard) or 10.7.5(Lion); recommended at least Intel Core 2 Duo with two cores or two physical processors
    Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 or 7.0.3 (earlier versions not supported), Final Cut Pro 10.0.6, OR CalibratedQ} Decode for OSX codecs are required to decompress AVC-Intra, DVCProHD, IMX and XDCAM HD video contained in MXF files
    Final Cut Pro X 10.0.6. is supported in CalibratedQ} MXF Import for OSX v2.4.0 or greater

  • MP4-EX Import: Mac OSX Requirements

    MacIntel Computer Only; recommended at least Intel Core 2 Duo with two cores or two physical processors
    Mac Intel with OSX 10.5.8(Leopard) or 10.6.8(Snow Leopard) or 10.7.2(Lion)
    Either Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 or 7.0.3 (earlier versions not supported), OR CalibratedQ} XD Decode for OSX is needed to decompress the video in the MP4 files

  • MP4-EX Import:.MP4 File Formats

    The following MP4 files ( in BPAV folder structure or not) will work with CalibratedQ} MP4-EX Import:
    Directly from cameras:
    Sony XDCAM EX MP4 files
    JVCProHD HM 700/HM100 MP4 files
    Rendered from Software:
    MP4 files created with Sony XDCAM Transfer in Final Cut Pro

About Calibrated Software MP4-EX

The Calibrated Software CalibratedQ} MXF Import for OSX is a QuickTime Import component for NATIVE Importing and Editing of MXF Files within Final Cut Pro 6, 7 and x without using Log and Transfer. And you're not just limited to Final Cut Pro, you can also natively import and work with MXF files in CatDV, Compressor, Motion, Sound Track Pro, QuickTime Player and Shake. With CalibratedQ} MXF Import, you can import and work with DNxHD .MXF files in Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.0/5.5/6.0, Adobe After Effects CS 5.0/5.5/6.0, or Adobe Media Encode CS 5.0/5.5/6.0.

The CalibratedQ} MP4-Ex Import for OSX is a QuickTime component for NATIVE Importing and Playback of Sony XDCAM Ex MP4 Files and JVC ProHD HM700/HM100 MP4 Files within Final Cut Pro 6 and 7. When being used with CalibratedQ} MP4-Ex Import, this application enables you to batch create QuickTime Reference .MOV files from XDCAM Ex MP4 files, create a FCP XML that allows you to import XDCAM Ex MP4 files into FCP with metadata or batch unlock/lock XDCAM Ex MP4 files on your harddrive.

  • MXF Import: Panasonic P2 and Ikegami GFCAM Video and Audio seen as 1 file in FCP and QuickTime Player
  • MXF Import: Timecode, Pixel Aspect Ratio, Frame Type (Progressive, Upper or Lower Interlaced) and Aperture Support
  • MXF Import: Includes MXF QuickLook & SpotLight components
  • MXF Import: Includes additional 'helper' applications
  • MP4-EX Import: Natively import XDCAM EX .MP4 files from JVCPro HD HM700/HM100 and Sony XDCAM EX cameras into Final Cut Studio 2 & 3 Apps (except Color), CatDV and QuickTime Player 7
  • MP4-EX Import: Timecode, Audio, Pixel Aspect Ratio, Frame Type (Progressive or Upper) and Aperture Support
  • MP4-EX Import: Supports MP4 files with or without BPAV folder structure
