Calibrated Software P2XD Specifications

  • MXF Import: Mac OSX Requirements 1

    MacIntel Computer with OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard) OR 10.6.8 or greater (Snow Leopard) or 10.7.5(Lion); recommended at least Intel Core 2 Duo with two cores or two physical processors
    Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 or 7.0.3 (earlier versions not supported), Final Cut Pro 10.0.6, OR CalibratedQ} Decode for OSX codecs are required to decompress AVC-Intra, DVCProHD, IMX and XDCAM HD video contained in MXF files

  • MXF Import: Mac OSX Requirements 2

    Final Cut Pro X 10.0.6. is supported in CalibratedQ} MXF Import for OSX v2.4.0 or greater. Please see the FCP X section in the User Guide for more details. Recommended by Apple for native MXF editing in FCP X!
    Avid QuickTime Codecs required for DNxHD, Meridien and Avid Uncompressed MXF Files

  • MP4-EX Import: Mac OSX Requirements 1

About Calibrated Software P2XD

The Calibrated Software CalibratedQ} P2+XD View Bundle for Mac OSX includes the Mac OSX versions of CalibratedQ} MXF Import, CalibratedQ} MP4-Ex Import, CalibratedQ} XD Decode, CalibratedQ} AVC-Intra Decode, CalibratedQ} DVCProHD Decode and CalibratedQ} IMX Decode. The Bundle Discount only applies when (A) all products are purchased using this option (you cannot upgrade to a Bundle at a later date) and (B) all products will be licensed to the same computer.

Calibrated Software P2XD Features

  • MXF Import: Natively import P2, XDCAM, Ikegami, AVID and many more types of MXF Files into Final Cut Pro 6, 7 & X, QuickTime Player 7 and CatDV
  • MXF Import: Panasonic P2 and Ikegami GFCAM Video and Audio seen as 1 file in FCP and QuickTime Player
  • MXF Import: Timecode, Pixel Aspect Ratio, Frame Type (Progressive, Upper or Lower Interlaced) and Aperture Support
  • MP4-EX Import: Natively import XDCAM EX .MP4 files from JVCPro HD HM700/HM100 and Sony XDCAM EX cameras into Final Cut Studio 2 & 3 Apps (except Color), CatDV and QuickTime Player 7
  • MP4-EX Import: Timecode, Audio, Pixel Aspect Ratio, Frame Type (Progressive or Upper) and Aperture Support
  • MP4-EX Import: Supports MP4 files with or without BPAV folder structure
