no problems
i bought back in 2016 to practice 600yd NRA-HPR. it does that great, i bought a tablet to use with it, much better than a cell phone. the battery just died after 8yrs, a decent run for a rechargeable. i almost downgraded the rating because 'customer service' for this is 0. so be advised, i'm [you will be too] on my own trying to find a replacement...

Customer support
We have five of these units combined. Yes, we've had a few issues??.clamps and units that would not hold a charge. I must say though, that the customer support and rectification of our problems has been swift and thorough. Kudos to Caldwell.

Don't waste money
I bought it by mistake, was looking at the long range cam. Optics had this listed cheap so I hit the botton. My mistake not what I wanted worked one time out of Box and has failed every time since to hook up. Wore finger out trying to connect.

I thought the camera was pretty nice.
I loved the camera but I haven't been able to use it yet. The camera clamp was broke when I unpackaged it. Evidently Samsung Ao3 won't work with the app. Why not. I just got my first smart phone last August. If it only works with iphones let me know in advance. Does it work with Androids? I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this.I tried to email customer service and haven't heard from them yet.

Poor Quality
I bought this in September 2022. The first time I use it on my range I find it is of poor quality. The mount for the wifi unit is loose. the rivet just does not hold the threaded adapter securely. When I "zoom" the image it pixelates. It seems only the image is enlarged and the camera has no optical zoom. The second time I set it up to try and diagnose the zoom the clamp for the camera breaks. The third problem is the tripod. The legs are not individually adjustable to accommodate uneven ground.

Great product... Except the achilles...
As soon as I got the item, the camera clamp was broken. It is made of cheap plastic. The industrial spring inside the clamp is clearly too much force for the plastic. All that asside, the technology and quality of everything else is great. The camera quality is excellent. Hopefully Caldwell can improve the plastic to handle the 50,000 lb spring inside. :-)

Camera Clamp broke on first use
The camera clamp is made of very cheap plastic and is under too much tension when clipped to the transmitter tripod as designed, before even taking my first shot it had broken and the camera was pointing down to the ground. After duct taping it into place I was able to continue shooting. If the sun is not shining directly on to the target it can be difficult to see, as the camera image quality is not the greatest.

Works great!
I work at a shooting industry only facility (16 ranges) and a client brought this camera set for documenting hits at our mile target.
It worked perfectly and made calling wind and hits very easy.
Strong value!!
