The Cubix 16 Channel GPU-Xpander Rack Mount 8 is a Series II, 5U, external PCIe expansion chassis that can support 1-4 server connections with up to 16 graphics processing units. This enables massive parallel calculations independent from the server, thus enhancing system performance and flexibility. The GPU-Xpander Rack Mount 8 allows you to add up to 16.48 teraflops of computational power to your data center.

The GPU-Xpander Rack Mount 8 is specifically certified for use with the Cubix HostEngine, but you can also connect to virtually any host computer with the Cubix host interface controller (HIC). Additionally, as the GPU-Xpander Rack Mount 8 separates parallel processing from the server itself, you have more freedom to allocate server assets to other tasks.
