Well worth it
The Flip back G2 was easily attached to point and shoot camera. Does help provide security for quick, one-handed shots and holding at weird angles and in tight or very restricted spaces and for macros or when tripods are impossible. For the likes of Canon S90 - S120 series cameras and those of similar or slightly larger size. A slightly larger version of flip back might help even more, depending on the size of one's hands. Previously, using another but similar Grip, I added a piece of the softer hook strip portion of black velcro (self sticking and molds easily to shape) over it, covering it completely for additional depth and for an even more effective softer grip. Did not interfere with carrying in a case the size of a Case Logic DCB-302 or similar and camera's quick removal. Plan to try it here too. Velcro can be removed again, if desired.

Get for single handed shooting
I repeat, great for single handed shooting with compact camera. Definitely would recommend.

Very useful!
I bought this for my Olympus E-PM1. It does improve the holding by a large degree (I have small hands). The camera can be much easily held one-handed.
The only problem is deciding where it is best to attach it (I mean, fraction of an inch up or down, right or left). Testing it without attaching is useless, since it both the camera and the protective sheets are very slippery. Removing after attaching it should be possible (according to manufacturer website) but I wasn't able to, so I ended up with a placement which does not satisfy me 100% (otherwise it would have been 5 stars).
You may try a weak double-sided tape for testing the position which would work best for you, and that may give you a 5-star product.
Besides this little glitch, it's a must have thing, which leaves one wondering why didn't Olympus include one in some of their cameras (I believe the new models all solved this issue)

Works well for my Canon S95
I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the Richard Franiec grip and this is it! Easy to stick onto my Canon PowerShot S95 and gives it a firm, sure one-handed grip.

Does what Canon should have done!
When I got my Powershot S95, I felt that some grip was missing. Then I found Flipbac's grip and read some reviews about it, and decided to buy it. It really fits well, and now the camera feels secure with just one hand. As a plus, it doesn't affect the pocketability of the camera, and looks like it is an original part of the camera.

Using it with my Olympus PEN E-PL3
The Olympus E-PL3 is great because it packs a lot in a small camera. However, since it is so compact there is no front grip. This item is the missing piece to making this camera feel great to hold and use. Easily attaches and doesn't feel like it will come off unless I want it off.
